What is a typical working day like at CAVA?

Great coworkers, dependable managers, reasonable ability to change hours and/or swap shifts, shift meals are worth it

College location means customer volume can be overwhelming at times

Good pay, free food, shift goes by fast

Management can be horrible, like pyramid scheme.

Great general manager salary, actual work-life balance because you are able to have multiple mangers on each shift, area leaders are supportive, great training program.

HR doesn’t partner up with regional and area leaders very well. HR seems to have very little operational experience - lacks empathy (says everything is black and white) and has shown to terminate multiple managers, area leaders, and regional leaders without coaching. Decisions are being made with very little knowledge of policy themselves (lots of grey areas for black and white standard). Recommend CEO looks deeper into Human Resource and how they handle relationships with operation leaders.

Pay is standard and workload isn't to bad

Shift leads completely change how your day is going to go. Sometimes close at 1-3am versus 11:30 (supposed to get out at 11:00). Also if leads like you they put you on easier positions and if they don't they put you on positions no one wants to do.
