Mixed Experience: Positive Culture, Uneven Management

      Pros

The company promoted a healthy work-life balance, which was appreciated.

      Cons

The internal mobility process was unnecessarily complex and lacked transparency. Additionally, poor management can significantly impact an employee’s mental well-being and hinder career growth. Organizations should prioritize fair leadership and clear pathways for advancement to retain talent and foster a healthy work environment.

      Pros

Interview process is structured and recruiters are easily approachable to answer your questions.

      Cons

Interview process is very intense and time consuming. There are 4 rounds of interview and some of them are just completely technical. But even after successful rounds, you dont hear back on time.

Overall, a great place to work!

      Technical lead - software engineer
      Current employee

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Lots of work to keep busy with. Opportunities to learn and improve. A great, healthy culture. Some of the best team mates you could ask for! Some newer senior management hires don't seem to fit with previous Cisco culture, and often come from the same business (mates hiring mates) poisioning the culture pool.

      Cons

Somewhat regular lay-offs (though I hear the redundancy pay is decent). Occasional short-notice business demands/projects can be stressful at times.

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Has a good work life balance and benefits are above par.

      Cons

Care more about the bottom line than employees. Management lacks the ability to adapt and innovate. Hiring process is all about favoritism and very biased.
