      Cons

Appraisal- The appraisal process started in Feb 2024, Promotion approved by career manager and immediate manager. received a good rating in March. Till June'24 there has been no update. In July - there is a letter with 'No Hike' Variable compensation not paid. No information about promotion till date. Worst process - Send emails to HRs no response, Raise tickets, no response. Financial queries, no response, No recognition. Management is a dummy. Recruitment - Recruit for namesake. Schedule fake interviews. Sometimes cancel without any information. Sometimes you are the only one in the call, waiting for others to join. Keep us on bench and force us to resign. and Yes they say it is GPTW certified (I doubt it)

A Disappointing Experience at an IT Company

      Pros

Working at the Greater Noida campus provided a pleasant environment with lush greenery and well-maintained landscaping. The campus offered recreational areas for relaxation and a cafeteria with diverse food options, enhancing the overall work ambiance.

      Cons

My role as a backend engineer for the FAC product exposed glaring deficiencies in the company's management of its tech team. Despite boasting a sizable team of approximately 50 people, the management lacked a clear understanding of effective team management practices. The project neglected industry-standard practices such as TDD, pair programming, and trunk-based development, hindering the team's productivity and code quality. While the company claimed to adopt microservices architecture, the absence of CI/CD practices undermined this approach. In my four-month tenure, I never had a meaningful one-on-one session with my manager to address challenges or receive guidance. The company prioritized meeting project deadlines over fostering a supportive work environment, leading to a culture where quantity was favored over quality. Additionally, the appraisal process was deeply flawed, with employees undergoing evaluations by managers they rarely interacted with throughout the year, resulting in absurd and demoralizing outcomes. Overall, my experience at this IT company was marred by a lack of integrity in its management practices, ultimately diminishing the potential for professional growth and fulfillment.
