Pros
For an ad agency, I hear the benefits are good. The pay is decent comparably (that I'm aware of) and there are protections for jr's like overtime. The people I work with are wonderful, and there's a lot of goodwill between coworkers. It's also remote, so there's obvious benefits there. Work where you want, not a ton of oversight beyond the output of work. Some opportunity for large client names to put in your book etc.
Cons
As is the case with other large agency holding companies, salary review process is designed to prevent upward movement. Managers have little to no power to promote, historically leadership has been a revolving door, no standardization across accounts, so lots of onboarding/process adjustment if on more than one account. If you want a raise, you leave for another agency or get hired on from another agency. Scopes often keep skeleton crew teams due to volatility in client budgets, which often results in overworking. DEI initiatives were pretty strong around 2022, it seems in 2024/5 they've gone quieter.
