What are perks and other benefits like at DataAnnotation?

- You completely determine your own schedule - Pay is good compared to many gig work sites (I rarely see projects less than 20/hr) though it varies by project. If you do well, you qualify for higher paying projects (30+/hr) even if you don't code. - The payout process for work is easy and fairly timely. The projects I work on are approved within a week.

- My dashboard is rarely empty but project availability is sometimes limited and there is little to no communication about why or when it will pick back up. - You have to sort out your own taxes and no benefits or guarantee of work are provided.

I love this website! It allows me to make extra money on the side. Requires worker to have good reading, writing and instruction following skills. Great flexibility and interesting work. Pay is also very good!

I love working with the company. I routinely have access to multiple tasks, giving me great variety in my work. I can fact-check AI responses, have conversations with LLMs, and design documents for the models to work with. Support is generally very fast in chat.

When the work variety is low, the tasks can be very repetitive. Feedback and performance reviews are virtually nonexistent. There are no benefits of working with DataAnnotation, such as premium access to services we test or research portals we use frequently.

-Entry assessments are difficult for some; prospective auditors will need keen objectivity, good writing skills and strong comprehension skills. Read and follow all of the instructions carefully! -Entry assessment failure does not result in a clear indication of non-acceptance, which lacks professional courtesy (while I was accepted, I had referrals who did not, so this is based on their shared experience) -Must be able to use reliable and accurate resources independently to validate correctness for some projects -If you don't do well on a project you may not ever receive feedback what went wrong, you will just lose access to that project and possibly similar projects -After you cash out pay there is a small waiting period before you can cash out funds again after you start earning again, not a big deal to me but may be a big deal for some -Tasks do have built in timers but they are not always reliable, so you must time yourself as you will self-report your worked time for any project -No benefits beyond getting paid for tasks and learning about new topics while you work projects
