      Working with an AI product that makes a genuine impact on people's lives Great and smart colleagues to work with, who are really passionate about what we do. Solid benefits and flexible working despite the new hybrid policy, flexibility is supported. Challenging work, chance to work on interesting projects

      Cons

      Going through a lot of change very quickly which is having an impact on the culture. We are trying to move faster, take more risks, be more innovative but we are actually moving slower than ever and the competition is increasing faster than we realise. We are becoming very corporate, and seem to losing our "soul" as it were. DeepL has a long way to go where diversity is concerned.

      - A lot of truly talented, amazing people work at DeepL - The benefits are quite good - The product is solid

      Cons

      - Many employees are experiencing burnout due to excessive workloads - Recognition and appreciation for employee efforts are lacking - Advancement is often based on office politics rather than merit and career growth opportunities are limited and unclear - Up-the-chain feedback is not truly welcomed - Leadership instability and unclear direction are causing chronic confusion - Workplace toxicity and favoritism are affecting decision-making

      As an employer, DeepL provides different benefits and cares about their employees. Mostly open-minded and very skilled people work at the company.

      Cons

      The company has been growing very fast and even though it's something they try to fix, their culture is suffering and some people are either unhappy or burnout.
