Pros
The type of work is great, the people you work with and for are awesome. Sometimes you're dealing with really unhappy injured workers but interactions with them can be limited if need be. Pay and benefits are competitive but their bonus program is not good- you get paid less to work more. Basically, you're on salary but are expected to meet the 40 hour work week. On salary, it can come out to about $41/hr but if you work anything above 40 hours, your paid around the low $30s/hr. It's impossible to not work over 40hours/week because the work piles up quickly. Cons
No life-work balance. There is a high turnover rate so you can get inundated with new files suddenly. When this happens, it's unlikely you'll be able to take that vacation you planned. The workload may occasionally fluctuate during certain times of the years but 85% of the time your workload is high.
