Pros
The type of work is great, the people you work with and for are awesome. Sometimes you're dealing with really unhappy injured workers but interactions with them can be limited if need be. Pay and benefits are competitive but their bonus program is not good- you get paid less to work more. Basically, you're on salary but are expected to meet the 40 hour work week. On salary, it can come out to about $41/hr but if you work anything above 40 hours, your paid around the low $30s/hr. It's impossible to not work over 40hours/week because the work piles up quickly. There is some flexibility if your willing to work late. For example, I could attend a personal medical appt or dentist appt and
Cons
No life-work balance. There is a high turnover rate so you can get inundated with new files suddenly. When this happens, it's unlikely you'll be able to take that vacation you planned. The workload may occasionally fluctuate during certain times of the years but 85% of the time your workload is high.
Pros
Work from home, no micromanaging, flexible schedule.
Cons
The pay could be better and more communication between teams would be nice.
Pros
Such a bad experience, its difficult to identify pros. Pay was bad and such a large company with horrible health insurance. Premiums were high and coverage was not the best. Out of pocket was too high and they are self funded. Parallel to the company philosophy that only cares about making money. They are always understaffed and nurses do the work of 1 1/2 or 2 nurses for the salary of one.
Cons
Management treats employees like slaves. Even if all work completed, they add work due in the future to collect the revenue so time dedicated to patients and customers is limited. Management does not care about employees, patients or customers. They just want nurses to creatively bill and figure out ways to bill even if its fraud. Expectation is to work 8 to 5 but the unspoken rule is to work 24/7. Nurses are 40 hrs a week salary but Genex wants every ounce of your energy. I guarantee you, any positive reviews is from management, trying to offset the negativity.

Good environment, people are nice, solid company and business.
Cons
Average salary with poor salaries raise, resulting that in some year you should be above the market. not providing productivity bonus. Medical insurance not good.
