What is the hiring process like at Evernorth?

Absolutely Nothing. I am virtually spitting on this company.

First of all, the recruitment process is disgusting. There is no transparency on any process, and they huddle us around like cattle Second, the treatment by seniors is as if you are a pochhawaala (janitor). I thought this company would be nice, but the projects suck and the management can suck it.

No pro's ever came across

Useless HR's and useless interview process first thing they should do is off the talent 500 team from interview process, they are unnecessary making company reputation down in india.

As contractor depends who the contracting company is.

My experience at the company began on a positive note. The work environment and initial onboarding were smooth, and I was excited about the role. However, over time, the management style—particularly under Deepa Nachagari—became increasingly micromanaging. I was frequently pinged at random hours just to check if I was online, which began to take a toll on my mental well-being. There was also a noticeable lack of timely communication when it came to decision-making. It often took several days to determine whether contractors would be let go, creating an atmosphere of uncertainty. One of the biggest drawbacks I observed was a "hire-to-fire" culture, where contractors seemed to be brought on with little long-term intent. While there were positive aspects to the job, these management issues significantly impacted my overall experience.

1. Poor training 2. A lot of time and money wasted due to poor planning from various leadership teams 3. Nepotism and favoritism was rampant from Cigna and express scripts. 4. The merit and bonus decision making process was antiquated and it was hard to see how some execs abused it 5. Many other things but it really depends on what area hires you.

The benefits and pay are reasonable.

The larger healthcare companies such as Cigna/Evernorth are struggling on financials and Cigna/Evernorth is largely focused on reducing operating expenses by leveraging offshore talent. They have reduced their headcount by many thousands over the last couple of years and will continue to do so this year. This is not because they hired too much or that AI is solving all of their problems. I would not recommend taking an onshore opportunity here at this time, because there is no guarantee that job will last for long.
