Pros
There are no good aspects of working here.
Cons
Probably not enough room to say all the negative things about this place. I was there for about 2.5 years. I worked in the creative department. First off, the manager was trying to run a studio but she ws an accountant and she only got the job because she was tight with the owner. That's how everything was. There are a small circle of blonde haired blue eyed people running a company creatively that is geared for an URBAN audience, knowing nothing about what is happening and then the lower tier employees get blamed when something is not a success. Not to mention the owner Richard who you can literally hear in the halls audibly SCREAMING at people about who knows what because he just pops in every couple of weeks with no clue whats going on to scream at people and then leave. So the whole company is run on a fear of getting screamed at or fired. Toxic. Oh and the salaries are lower than average but he's rolling around in his Rolls Royce and buying the most expensive house in the US. There is basically always someone on mental health leave because the demand for the amount of work is unreasonable and the verbal abuse is real, You can find evidence of all this on instagram. If you work here you wont be provided lunch but you will be able to sit there and watch freelancers eat their provided lunch in front of you. Oh and don't go to HR, discussing any issues you have with HR WILL result in being fired, thats basically their only job. I've seen an entire studio team be fired because they told HR a supervisor made them uncomfortable (minorities of course). The turnover rate is crazy. Especially if you are a minority. I've seen a supervisor try to save a white employee that did the exact same violation while the minority employees already had their walking papers. So if you're a minority don't get too comfortable. And when new candidates were being interviewed she said "more black people?" We weren't supposed to know that but it was heard. NO matter what you do it will never be enough. No culture of rewarding, only more demand. No communication just running around trying to please the supervisors who are basically just trying to not get screamed at, so absolutely nobody enjoys their job everyone is miserable and it shows, My advice is just don't if you can avoid.
