What are perks and other benefits like at Flannels?

Flannels has some company benefits such as employee discount 20% off at any frasers group stores.Additionally there is the opportunity to earn commission which definitely improves the wage.Working with luxury brands and gaining fashion knowledge.

The downsides are inconsistent hours due to it being a 0 hour contract hours can be high some weeks and very low others.Working unsociable hours e.g Christmas.Restrictions on holidays at peak business hours e.g Christmas,Easter,Summer sale. Breaks are only minimum requirements so shifts tend to be 5hr30 to avoid break or 9hrs to avoid an hour break.

Good training, opportunity for growth, lots of areas in the store to learn from, good staff benefits

I’m sorry I really can’t think of any. I would say the 50% off uniform. But it’s not actually that great. And you only get 20% off normal stuff which is super low for a luxury stores staff benefits.

There are absolutely no pro's or benefits to working here and I would avoid at all costs as it was the worst 11 months of my life

No direction or learning development given No bonuses There is absolutely no culture here Pay is terrible for the hours and travel that is expected of you Prior to my time my team used to joke about being our weekly external project meeting until 1am (during my time it usually ended about 8/9pm and I was obligated to stay) One time we had to stay in a meeting until 9pm because my manager popped out for half an hour to get her dry cleaning Bullying is rife at SLT level and they get away with it as many of them are friends of Mike Murray - including calling people 'thick' My manager rang me in my personal time to shout at me about not working while bed bound with covid My manager disciplined me for not being able to travel to a store due to attending a funeral of a family member and only asked me if I was coming back to work so she and another team member could watch Wimbledon I wrote a letter of complaint about my manager to HR and nothing was done and eventually they stopped replying Management removed our wfh Friday because it was 'not a productive day' despite many of us doing 12-14 hour days when travelling My team made no effort to be friendly or engage with me despite my efforts Penalised by management when trying to keep smaller projects moving which required their input/ sign off while bigger projects were on going Expenses when travelling were very minimal with no lunch allowance and dinner at a value of £20 if you were staying over night in a premier in or worse

Flexible for students and easy location.

Horrible working environment, team is usually very young, a lot of secondary school students where team morale is low, childish and petty. No increase or benefits in working other than minimum wage. No chance at progression, sometimes management can be petty, horrible experience onboarding as I stated holidays were booked and they still offered me the job.

The hours given by management are inconsistent sometime and some staff are favoured than others by the managers and are given preferential treatment, especially those who have worked there the longest. For short term worker or seasonal workers the pay system is very complicated and disorganised.

minimum wage so definitely negates the discount benefit horror training, they call giving you a tour around the shop for an hour training and then they condescend or shout at you when you make a mistake. schedule you for hours you told them previously you can’t do stood for hours doing nothing
