That is, a good idea of ​​open feedback is used to humiliate and manipulate), salaries are below the market average. I have been working at HOLYWATER for almost two years, and during this time, the company has become more than just a workplace for me—it’s a space for growth and new opportunities. Six months ago, I transitioned from the position of office manager to content manager, and this step felt natural thanks to the support of the team and the company’s open culture. It was a very fun and creative job (until it wasn't due to forcing the use of AI in every step of story development), but the highlight of this journey was meeting some incredible people and entire creative processes with two amazing narrative designers I've had the opportunity to work with. The company had a lot of potential, but the more money it made, the worse it all became.

I mean, where to start... Ego-maniacal money hungry CEO, incompetent unsupportive narrative team lead, terrible organization and untransparent communication, overworked and underpayed people, AI torture, and cherry on top - sacking the entire narrative team and feeding all their work and ideas into AI to continue making money.

Sometimes the pace is so fast that you have to be really adaptive. Work-life balance could be better, especially during high-priority launches, but that’s part of the excitement. Also, as the company grows, more structured internal communication would help keep everyone aligned.
