Decent pay at start, but high pressure and money falls off
Pros
Lots of work, all the newest equipment and very clean organised workshops.
Cons
Was enticed into the role by decent starting salary and the expectation of good pay from performance bonus. This was ok for the first few months, as the jobs I was assigned were relatively achievable within the allowed time. However as they began to trust me with more complex jobs the time given was ridiculously short. This meant that you could earn far more from doing simple repetitive tasks rather than complex work requiring far more skills and experience. What is the motivation to be better at your job if you will earn less? When i raised my concerns with management, I was told "you cant have the cream forever" in those exact words. I resigned shortly after.
