Awful pay if you work remotely in a Western country; only apply if you'll be working at one of the offices
Pros
Interesting work, especially if you're a gamer and find the IPs fun, There's definitely potential for vertical and horizontal growth if you can get through some brutal work. Potential opportunities to collaborate with other company teams and industry companies. The sole positive takeaway from working here was having the honor of meeting some truly talented and kind individuals, though I feel their potential was/is squandered by management. Pay is pretty decent by Asian country standards (not Western unless you work through one of the official offices).
Cons
Horrendous pay for remote workers that does not factor in elements like cost of living; you are provided no insurance or benefits, and you're on your own for filing taxes. Overtime is paid, but has to be approved and you are not paid at any increased rate. Unprofessional HR staff who will literally laugh in your face in DMs and handwave your concerns. Inconsistent and mixed messages from upper management. Complete disregard for employee mental health (really feels like "beatings will continue until morale improves"). Unrealistic output expectations from management. Quit one project because my colleagues had no desire for quality improvement, which resulted in the same repeated errors QA cycle after QA cycle. TL;DR usual Chinese company workplace issues
