      Good company overall

      Pros

Good product, good pay, benefits are great, and so is the stock

      Cons

Depending on team, leaders can be narcissistic and toxic, no true growth in the company, and definitely no real process in place. HR is not the best when it comes to an employee’s concerns.

      Pros

Intuitive Surgical is an exceptional company, offering endless opportunities for growth. The benefits are good, and the direct impact on patient care through my role, and all roles at Intuitive, is profoundly meaningful. Our commitment to improving patient care through advanced surgical solutions is a core value that resonates deeply with me. It is truly remarkable to work on the most advanced medical devices in the world.

      Cons

The workload is consistently dynamic, ensuring that there is always something new to keep you engaged and challenged. At Intuitive, every team member is a vital contributor, and there are no passive roles. Embracing discomfort and adapting to change are essential for success in our fast-paced environment.

Overall great company to work at

      Pros

People here seem really driven by the company mission - in a good way. Great benefits, unlimited PTO, and salaries are competitive (especially in the healthcare industry)

      Cons

People are nice, but the culture doesn’t feel like one that is easy to be social or break into. Teams tend to focus on work and not take a lot of effort for team building or employee engagement

Will You Be The Next Diversity Hire to Fire?

      Cta
      Former employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

They sure know how to gaslight you through your training and at conferences on how great it is to work for them. They dangle a banana in front of your face of a competitive package you can get AFTER a tenured period of time that requires you to do others jobs just to have SOME recognition, but never to promote you.

      Cons

This company totes how advanced they are and inclusive, but has exhibited time and time again that they do not genuinely care about their employees. From hiring and firing diversity hires, mismanagement of time and respect of surgeons in the OR, and the unorganized growth and development for new employees is incredibly lacking compared to other large companies. On top of this, the pay range is behind on times and the benefits package is subpar to working at a fast food chain. This company has the ability to be greater and better but instead exploits their people for leaderships personal gain. Interacting with some leadership, you can see that there are some moral gaps and cover ups. The worst part about all that I’ve said is that there is a receipt for every single grievance and yet the company will prioritize lies, covering for their own, and finding ways to terminate anyone who is not a white male or female. Do not recommend ever working for this company — which will soon be out competed by more robust and modern technologies soon. It’s unfortunate the mediocrity of those that are in leadership positions & you wonder how they got there.
