Working as a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Jitjatjo has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The autonomy and freedom to manage your own work are major highlights, allowing you to take ownership of your projects and make meaningful contributions. The work culture and vibe here are top-notch, fostering a sense of collaboration that makes every day enjoyable. The team is highly cooperative, always willing to lend a hand or share insights, which creates a very supportive environment. The competency of the engineering and product teams is impressive—everyone is highly skilled and passionate about what they do, which elevates the quality of work across the board. Remote work is also a big plus, offering flexibility without compromising on productivity.

Being a smaller company, it’s expected that you’ll need to wear multiple hats and tackle a wide array of challenges, which can be both exciting and demanding. Additionally, due to the nature of remote work, there are fewer opportunities to get together with the entire team, which can sometimes limit face-to-face interactions.

I’ve been working at Jitjatjo for over two years now, and I’m genuinely happy to be part of this organization. From the very beginning, I’ve felt welcomed and supported by my colleagues. Everyone here is incredibly kind and always willing to lend a hand, which creates a collaborative and friendly atmosphere. The company takes excellent care of its employees, offering a supportive environment that encourages both personal and professional growth. It’s clear that Jitjatjo values each team member and is committed to fostering a positive workplace culture. What truly stands out to me is the sense of being part of something bigger. The work we do here is meaningful, and it’s inspiring to collaborate with such dedicated and passionate individuals. After two years, I can confidently say that Jitjatjo is a place where you can grow, feel valued, and make a real impact.

I don’t have any cons to report for this company. My experience has been positive, and everything has met or exceeded my expectations.

Great when starting out there. Now a run by senior managers trying to keep their positions. I got paid to work there.

Standard start-up business where no checks and balances are made to the senior management team, resulting in significant loss, month after month, and the outcome being lower level employees are let go to, "reduce costs". Preaching transparency and their core values, whilst actively lying and being shady to everyone in the process. Avoid this 7 year old start-up.

Talented and Motivated Team: The team here is incredibly skilled and driven. The level of expertise and commitment from everyone makes it a fantastic place to grow and learn. We all support each other and share knowledge, creating a collaborative and inspiring work environment. Positive Atmosphere: The work atmosphere is outstanding. It's a perfect blend of professionalism and camaraderie. The challenges we face are engaging and provide great opportunities for both personal and professional development. I feel constantly stimulated and excited about the projects we undertake. Transparency: The company excels in maintaining a high level of transparency. Communication is open and clear, keeping everyone informed about important decisions and developments. This openness fosters a sense of trust and teamwork. Great Management: The management team is exceptional. They provide strong leadership and vision, guiding us through challenges with ease. Their support and encouragement create an environment where innovation thrives and everyone feels valued.

Honestly, I can't think of any significant downsides at this time.

There are slow periods and there isn’t a lot of flexibility once you do book a shift you will be penalize if you’re late or cancel

Start ups can be challenging - to excel you must be able to embrace change, willing to pivot & try new things which is not for everyone.

Collaborating with talented individuals has been a great learning and satisfying experience Distributed team collaboration. The company has effective collaboration tools and practices in place. Regular virtual meetings and communication channels keep everyone connected and productive. The culture is supportive and inclusive. Colleagues and managers are approachable, transparent and willing to help, which provides a collaborative work atmosphere.

No specific cons. There can be noticeable turnover, but this can be common in a fast pace tech startup.

Fast-paced environment can be demanding at times

Everyone is very friendly and work is not that hard

There is absolutely no structure. You are on your own the entire time and will be blamed for things that are out of your control as management doesn't have your best interests at heart. If you don't come in and close immediately, you will be let go regardless of anything. An extremely toxic environment, and very high turnover rate.
