Pros
Made some good friends, free parking, affordable food. HR/well-being we’re always nice
Cons
The job makes you anxious and feel uneasy, as someone who has never had anxiety this job definitely changed that. Absolutely everything is timed to the minute including your lunch, break, loo breaks, logging out to respond to clients emails. It’s extremely restrictive, your break can be at 10.30 and you need to return on the dot 10.40, not 30 seconds later (no exaggeration), you’re treated like a child. You take 200+ calls in a day, one after the other, you don’t get chance to converse with colleagues for hours at a time, barely get chance to drink between calls some days as another call comes through the second 1 call ends. Callers can scream, swear and say the most vile things but hey ho you just have to get on with it. Progression in this job is barely worth it as the pay doesn’t match the responsibilities. The gym and pub are all well and good but after a day in that place, believe me you just want to leave. I wouldn’t recommend this job unless you were desperate for the money, I’d go in on time, leave on time and do the least amount of work possible.
