Pros
1. Free visits to primary care physicians. Free blood test, cancer test, nutrition management via Marathon Health. 2. Generic pharmacy store on-site. 3. Nothing else!
Cons
1. Health insurance is terrible in general! $15/paycheck per employee. If you add your spouse it will be $160/paycheck. Minimum coverage. 2. 2% 401k match. 5 years of vesting. That’s ridiculous. 3. 5 days of PTO a year in the first year. 10 days in second year. On completion of the fifth year you get 15 days. Only 6 days of sick leave a year and that too pro-rated. You get approx. 0.5 of sick leaves credited to you every month. 6 days on national holidays a year. You get only 25th December and 1st January off. No christmas eve or anything whatsoever. 4. No cellular network coverage in most places inside the facility with few exceptions where you will see one network bar popping up on and off. I have AT&T. I believe they do it intentionally. No free WiFi from the company. 5. Nephron has an archaic mindset. They still use notebooks to document all lab experiments and due to GDP regulations it is really hard to maintain clean notebook entries. 6. Every employee (analytical services) is so tired and frustrated all the time because the enormous amount notebook writing they have do. 7. The employee turnover is horrible. 33% people leave the company within a year from joining. 8. Break room is tiny and full during lunch break. One has to wait in line to use the broken microwaves to warm their food. 9. The front building is flashy but the buildings where research labs are located are terrible. Chairs in the conference rooms are falling apart and no modern digital equipments are available for virtual meetings. 10. People have to fight over computers in the labs.
