Pros
Most of the pro's have been taken away. WFH? Nope. PTO? Good luck getting it approved, and if it is, you're made to feel like a bad guy for not working yourself to the bone. The only thing I can think of is that you might be lucky to find some good colleagues to trauma bond with. If you're a "lad's lad" who has gotten far in life because of your race and/or gender, you'll probably be fine here until they start running out of other people to fire.
Cons
I've been a recruiter for many years and I understand that the "work hard, play hard" attitude comes with the industry. I even expect a sprinkle of toxicity because of the inevitable competition and high pressure environment. What I refuse to tolerate is the overwhelmingly chauvinistic environment that bleeds out of every single office of this company. If you're applying for a job in X office and are trying to justify that it'll be okay because most of the bad reviews are in Y office, I beg you to pluck yourself out of the land of delusion and realize that it's all bad. 90% of the managers care more about billing than providing the proper support to their team. They think that weekly roleplays qualify as "world class training," and throw you into the deep end and get mad when you don't provide results within 3 days of your hire date. Do not believe them when they say they will provide you the tools to succeed. All they do is try to put the fear of God in you, because this is a company that runs off of fear - not respect. Speaking of respect, please do not expect any if you are a woman. You'll survive if you're a "pick me" girl, but do not think for a second that you are ever cared for. People who file sexual harassment claims are fired several weeks later under vague circumstances and the offenders go on to be recognized as Consultant of the Month. Every level of management in this company is full of people who expect everything of their subordinates but only care about themselves. You will be thrown under the bus for their sake. You will be blamed for the shortcomings of factors completely outside of your control (like, I don't know, THE ECONOMY). Recruiting is hard enough as it is. Make sure you join a company that will at least support you in this industry. There's a reason why all the recent 5-star reviews sound like generic AI-generated nonsense. Think long and hard before you apply here.
