Why I Chose Outsourced: My Journey

      Pros

Fast hiring, Employee appreciation, Convenience Working with Outsourced has been a great experience, not only because they have convenient office locations but also because they truly value their employees' well-being. Speaking of feeling valued, I’d love to share my story of how I ended up working with Outsourced. To be honest, Outsourced wasn’t my first choice. Before joining, I had been job hunting for three months, specifically looking for a work-from-home setup similar to my previous job. Unfortunately, most of the companies I applied to didn’t meet my expectations. Then, I finally found a job that seemed perfect for me—but the hiring process was taking too long, and I was left waiting. That’s when I came across a job posting from Outsourced. Even though the position was onsite (which wasn’t what I was originally looking for), I decided to apply. The hiring process was fast and efficient—after the interviews and assessments, I received a job offer almost immediately. At first, I hesitated to accept the offer because my heart was still set on the job I had applied for earlier. I asked the Outsourced recruitment team for more time to decide, and they generously gave me until Monday (I received the offer on a Friday). After careful thought, I chose to accept Outsourced’s offer—not because I doubted my chances at the other company, but because I felt valued and appreciated. Unlike the long waiting period with the other company, Outsourced recognized my potential right away and welcomed me into their team without hesitation. Ironically, just a week before I started my training, the other company finally reached out to say I had been accepted. I had the chance to leave Outsourced and pursue the other role, but I stood by my decision because I believed I would have an amazing journey with this company. Looking back, I have no regrets. I am truly enjoying my time at Outsourced, and I am grateful for the opportunity to grow and thrive in a company that sees and values its people.

DISCLAIMER: LONG REVIEW AHEAD. I was just 18 years old when I first learned that there were BPO companies in the Philippines. It’s still fresh in my memory how I told myself that I would never, ever join this industry because of all the misconceptions I had heard from people who had never even been part of it. I also thought that being an agent was easy—until I experienced everything from scratch and learned the truth the hard way. From going from one recruitment hub to another with only enough fare in my pocket, to lining up with hundreds of hopeful applicants starting at 10 AM and going home past midnight, only to find out that I had failed the very last part of the recruitment process, to facing rejections and feeling broken after every failed application—I began to wonder if there was a company that would provide real opportunities to everyone. Whether they were the breadwinner of their family, a fresh graduate or an undergraduate aspiring to become a BPO agent, or someone searching for a stable career and a place to grow and be recognized. In 2017, I finally became part of the BPO industry. I was full of hope because, at last, I would be able to help my widowed mom, and I wouldn’t be a burden to anyone anymore. I was so excited to have the privilege of speaking with people, helping them resolve their inquiries and concerns, and giving them reasons to continue patronizing the products and services of the account I was assigned to. But little did I know that, at that time, I wasn't any closer to my dreams. I was mocked for not smoking. I was bullied for being a call center fresher and an undergraduate. I was even looked down upon for not wearing designer or expensive clothes and shoes. But it didn’t stop there—I was even harassed while I was still in the training period. Following the proper process, I sought assistance from my supervisor, but since she was pregnant at the time, my situation was never prioritized or looked into, as she had to focus on her child. So, I remained silent, tried to work as usual, and gave my best. Until I started experiencing severe anxiety—even when I was at home—crying while taking calls, and praying that, hopefully, someday, I would be part of a company that doesn’t tolerate bullying or any kind of harassment. A company with a management team that listens and truly takes care of their employees, one that continues to support their people even after they log off from their computer screens. Fast forward—it's now February 2025, and I am finally part of the company I had prayed for eight years ago. Heaven heard my prayer and led me to Outsourced Philippines—the only company that restored my faith in the BPO industry. From being carefully assisted throughout the recruitment process to being continuously taken care of even after seven months here, I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to be part of a company that doesn’t just say they care but actually proves it. I will always be thankful for the comfortable work-from-home setup, which allows me to be an efficient employee while being a mom to my kids. I am grateful to be able to provide for them because of the generous salary package—something every company is capable of offering but not all have the heart to give to their hardworking employees. From our benefits like HMO and online training to the continuous efforts of the team to foster a strong culture through fun events, I couldn’t ask for more. Tomorrow will mark my eighth month at Outsourced, and I promise to do my part in helping this company grow even bigger so it can continue to support people like the old me—those searching for a company that truly cares. To the founder and CEO, Sir Mike Larcher, my supervisor Sir Allen Orencio, and all the key members of Outsourced Philippines—maraming, maraming salamat po! Mabuhay po kayo!

      Pros

I was hired during the first week of January, and it was a fantastic way to kick off the new year. I had my interview last December, just before the Christmas break, and I was a bit anxious about whether I would get hired. Thankfully, the process was smooth, and the recruiter gave me the opportunity to apply for a role that best suited my skills. The HR hiring process was also fast and efficient, which made my onboarding seamless. What truly stands out about this company is how much they care for their employees. From day one, I felt valued, not just in terms of the excellent service we provide to clients but also through the benefits and support extended to us. Having HMO coverage from the start, including one dependent, is a huge plus. The help desk team is incredibly efficient, ensuring smooth operations and quick resolutions to any concerns. It was also a great experience meeting the CEO and fellow new hires, which made me feel even more welcomed. Even though I’ve only been here for a month, I already feel the warmth of being part of such a supportive and engaging company culture. I love the employee engagement initiatives and the feedback reviews that help gauge our experiences and improvements. It’s refreshing to be in an environment that genuinely listens and values its people. I’m excited for the upcoming company outing and the chance to meet more amazing colleagues. Grateful to be part of this team and looking forward to growing with the company for the long run!

      Cons

None so far, as I’ve just started. For my type of work, upgrading the computer specs would be beneficial, especially for creative tasks. However, this has already been raised and is subject to client approval.

      Pros

I was a trainee when my son was hospitalized, and I found myself unable to attend training that day. I reached out to my client and team leader, and without hesitation, they granted me permission to take the day off so I could be with my son. My boss even reassured me with the words, "Family always comes first!" This level of understanding and support is rare and speaks volumes about the company culture. In my first month during the probationary period, the company provided me with Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) coverage, including one free dependent. I really appreciate how proactive the company is when it comes to employee engagement—ensuring even work-from-home employees can participate in activities. Generosity is another standout quality of the company. Not only do they offer allowances on top of the basic salary, but they also provided me with the necessary equipment to make my job more efficient. And perhaps most importantly, the Customer Success Officer and the HR team are incredibly supportive—they're always just one message away. Though this is my first experience as a Virtual Assistant (VA) and I didn’t have prior BPO experience, I’ve been able to adjust seamlessly thanks to the consistent guidance and support from both management and my colleagues. I truly feel valued as part of the team here, and it's clear this is a company that cares about its people.

      Cons

I’ve referred a few friends to join the company, but they haven’t received any updates on whether they will be moving forward to the next step in the hiring process. It would be really helpful if referred candidates could receive more timely communication regarding the status of their applications. Clear updates would enhance the experience for both the candidates and those referring them.

I've been in a corporate world for a decade and this is my 4th company - Working at Outsourced has been a fantastic experience! Hiring process was smooth, kudus to all recruiters coz they're very helpful and easy to reach out. Salary and compensations were great plus permanent WFH so you will get to enjoy spending time with your family. From day one, I felt welcomed and supported. The leadership is approachable, and they genuinely care about the well-being and growth of their employees. There's a strong sense of teamwork, and collaboration is encouraged at all levels. The company invests in professional development opportunities, and I've been able to grow my skills significantly. The work-life balance is excellent, and the overall culture is one of respect, inclusivity, and innovation. I truly feel valued here, and it’s been rewarding to contribute to the company’s mission. Superb!!!

From the hiring process 'til being hired with Outsourced was truly exceptional! Process was fast and direct to the point. I was only interviewed once and then the client interview right away, then started a week after :) Offer is good, and I got an extra P15,000 sign in bonus!! :) Management is awesome, IT's are very helpful. There was once a time my company issued laptop had malfunctions and had to be replaced and they issued me a new one in just a day! Truly Outsourced offers a work-life balance environment. Now working as a permanent work from home agent is a game-changer. PS: Outsourced Year End Parties are super duper fun! :)

      Cons

Somehow, being a PWFH agent is a con, since I don't get to meet these exceptional people on a daily basis but get to meet them every Y.E.P! Aside from that, none.
