Cons
Management are clueless HR are the worst department. Micromanagement Training is rubbish. Average pay. People don’t leave jobs they leave managers. The retention and turnover figures in this company says a lot. The upper management all haven’t got clue how to run a business, none of them trust their staff therefore there is a massive blame culture and intensive micromanagement. Instead of listening to their staff on how to improve they bring in new external LEAN companies every couple of months and implement the same changes each time with ultimately fail and put everyone in a worse position. HR are even worse and don’t know their own policies they’re meant to enforce and just lie constantly. They’re more concerned about sending emails about going litter picking than actually doing their jobs. The training is pretty much none existent but then you’re blamed for any mistakes made straight away. The pay isn’t great, your annual pay rise is something like 2-3% doesn’t even cover inflation. In terms of benefits the company don’t do much for their staff, you get a £50 Amazon voucher at Christmas and they’ve started doing a hog roast for the past 2 years in the summer time.
Pros
The lab people are nice.
Cons
This company is a complete joke. They expect absolute dedication, constant high performance, and full availability, yet give nothing meaningful in return. The pay is low, the workload is ridiculous, and they’ve stripped away any remaining benefits or flexibility we used to have. Work-from-home? Gone. Flexi-time? Gone. Need time off for a doctor’s appointment, school run, car MOT, or even pregnancy sickness? Tough luck, use your annual leave. There is ZERO compassion, ZERO understanding, and ZERO effort to support staff with real lives outside of work. You’re expected to drop everything for this place, but when you need help, they’re nowhere to be found. The worst part? They don’t even pretend to care anymore. Concerns have been raised again and again, but HR and management don’t listen. Employees are leaving, people are burning out, morale is at rock bottom, and still nothing changes. Instead, they waste time on fake PR, like volunteering days planting flowers, to make themselves look good online. If a regular employee asked to do that? They’d be told no. Always no. And now, to top it off, they’ve taken away four days of our annual leave to cover a forced Christmas shutdown. Not everyone wants that time off. Some people have other commitments, others find the holidays isolating, but none of that matters. You don’t get a choice. You’re just told what to do, when to do it, and how to feel about it. We’re not asking for much, just to be treated like human beings. We have lives. Families. Responsibilities. Mental health struggles. But instead of supporting us, this company continues to take more and more, until there's nothing left to give. No flexibility. No appreciation. No respect. Just top-down control and hollow “celebrations” no one asked for, like a hog roast, while our bonus stays stuck at a measly £400. This hog roast, yeah people can come and have free food, but if they take more than their lunch time "celebrating" with everyone, we then have to work the extra time to make up for it. We don't get the afternoon off to have fun like HR will, who will pretend to over see the whole thing. Who is going to do the work? We would rather not have a stupid hog roast and leave on time, and go home to my family! Or the doctors! Seeing as I cant do it in work time. This place is miles behind the rest of the world. You’re not just overworked, you’re micromanaged, underpaid, and completely disregarded. If you value your sanity, avoid this company at all costs.
Pros
Great benefits, good hourly pay, overtime available and much growth potential.
Cons
Short break and Short lunch. Not much negative to complain about.
Pros
Good environment good people good pay
Cons
Sometimes not everyone holds up their end
Pros
Great people who have been at the company for years.
Cons
No cons really, besides the pay being on the lower side for how much money the company makes.
Pros
The pay was decent and some friendly people.
Cons
They want you to compete with machines, don’t like people cooperating even though it would speed things up and be more efficient. Only decent thing was the pay but is the juice worth the squeeze? Decide for yourself.
Pros
3 days on 4 off is a nice shift pattern. A yearly bonus from 467-4500 depending on company performance. VHI coverage after probation. Company is expanding quickly lots of opportunity. Good people in general.
Cons
Entry level positions have fair pay but higher positions do not match industry standard salaries at all. Get your experience and move on if looking for proper compensation. Stamullen facility is extremely chaotic and packed, training was insufficient which lead to frustration at the start.
