Good engineers to work with

I recently underwent a rather disheartening experience with a Paytm that left me questioning the integrity of their employment practices. Initially, the process seemed promising as they offered a joining bonus upon recruitment, coupled with an 18-month cooling-off period. However, as I approached the conclusion of this period, the company took an unexpected turn. The disappointment set in when, instead of fostering a long-term professional relationship, the company approached me to voluntarily resign. To add insult to injury, they opted to deduct a portion of the joining bonus from my Full and Final Settlement (FNF). This unexpected request to resign, especially after dedicating a significant amount of time and effort to the organization, felt like a betrayal of the initial promises made during the hiring process. Such practices not only raise ethical concerns but also cast a shadow over the company's commitment to fostering a supportive and stable work environment. The lack of transparency and adherence to the initial terms of employment has undoubtedly left me with a negative impression of the organization. It is disheartening when a company, which initially appeared promising, fails to uphold its commitments and leaves its employees in a precarious situation. In conclusion, while I appreciate the opportunities the company initially presented, the subsequent actions have left me questioning the integrity of their employment policies. It serves as a cautionary tale for potential employees to carefully consider the long-term implications of joining such an organization.

This is a feedback regarding the interview I gave for DevOps Manager position at Paytm , I answered all the questions correctly during the interview and even the panelists did not correct me for any wrong answer but after following up one week after the interview , I was told that some internal candidate is being taken instead of me

Biased internal hiring by one of their panelists Om Prakash for DevOps manager position although JD does not mention candidate should have worked at Paytm earlier, if internal hiring only had to be done then job should not have been posted on public job boards & people applying for these jobs , their time should not be wasted

Good learning. Startup ecosystem where you work on son many things.

1. Work pressure. People used to work in night like 1 or 2 pm. 2. They fire employee without any severance package. They asked employee to put down papers during RBI restriction. 3. Hr will call a metting and say that your performance is not good, and you are supposed to put down your paper. 4. They negotiate too much during hiring process.

-Bad work culture. - Terrible leadership - Bad recruitment the HR doesn't know whom to give what designation basis experience .

Nothing as such apart from Salary on time

It seems that within Paytm's lending Business unit, decisions regarding the composition of the QA team have been influenced by factors beyond conventional performance metrics and the thought process. Personal relationships or other considerations have played a significant role in these decisions [Otherwise why a guy rated so low [ in oct 2023 performance review] is being retained apart from manual QA manager while the focus is on Automation etc , this is Joke if we consider performance as Benchmark . This highlights the intricate dynamics within the leadership of the organization and their decision-making process when assembling the QA team. Furthermore, the departure of other highly skilled automation managers [ they used to personally sit and guide us , now we are all alone without any type of guidance and with no growth path], appears puzzling and reflects a potential shift in priorities within the organization, its no more high-performance Business unit with highly incapable top leadership

indefinite work from home is the only positive here

literally everything is a con: Managers, VPs and CEOs office- people have been here for far too long, they lack perspective, there is no benchmarking on how to operate, or optimize. VP of Talent Acquisition has back channel relationship with Recruitment Agencies.
