      Pros

Great pay in California, good benefits and paid time off. Paid holidays and sick days in addition to vacation time. I genuinely enjoyed working with most everyone I interacted with and appreciated the familiarity most personnel had on a personal level. We had a 9/80 schedule so every other week had a 3-day weekend which was often what got me through some of the hardest weeks.

      Cons

Management can be very petty, a lot of interdepartmental fighting and micromanaging where it isn't necessary. My boss made me hate a job I genuinely should have and would have loved. Ethical and safety issues regularly get swept under the rug and employees don’t mention it because they’re worried about retaliation. Too much trust is placed on managers to speak for their employees rather than the employees being asked directly how they feel. I’m still nervous about filling out my exit survey because I don’t want my old manager to see what is said and retaliate on my coworkers. HR couldn’t be trusted because we only had one rep and she proved on multiple occasions she would go directly to our boss instead of allowing the reports to go anonymous, resulting in retaliation and underhanded remarks.

Benefits are good and the pay is competitive.

      Cons

This used to be a great, people first company when it was Perspecta. Since the Peraton merger, it has become unbearable. There is a reason why they have so many contractors now.

      Cons

Not really any to share. "worst" thing, I guess, is that outside of my location, the company feels like a different entity.

      Pros

Good pay and decent benefits. What I've appreciated the most is the company culture. Obviously every team and contact will be different, but I've had great experiences with multiple teams, coworkers and leadership. I've been given the opportunity find roles that fit where I was looking to grow. There is focus on employee health and work/life balance which I've appreciated. Additionally, while not all roles allow for it, there are many positions that are fully remote if that's what you're looking for.

      Cons

Initial onboarding was chaotic and directionless. My first manager forgot I was starting on her team. Pay structure isn't always clear.

      Quit crying

      Pros

Lots of work, overtime, excellent benefits. I’ve read a lot of these reviews and all I have to say is quit crying and grow up. You want a big boy/girl job then suck it up. Is this work easy at first??? nope. I struggled my first year until I learned what was wanted. Do I hate getting reports sent back to me??? Sure do but that is part of life. This company has excellent benefits and the pay is decent for what we do. I’m glad I’m not digging ditches in 100 degree heat for a living. I get to work from home and make my own schedule wow that is so hard. Work off the clock??? Never, because you will get fired for doing so and the company sends out an email quarterly reminding employees not to do this. Training sucks?? Management realized there was an issue not having training in person as it once was prior to Covid and has now gone back to in-person training for new people as well as added time to the in-person field training afterwards. Here are the three things you need to succeed at this job: time management skills, organizational skills and the ability to write a report. Before you apply be honest with yourself about these three things. If you are a slacker don’t apply and save yourself the pain of this job. If you have these skills and are dedicate please become a team member.

      Cons

I will say review can be inconsistent but they are human.
