Pros
Leadership cares about employees, great benefits and flexibility
Cons
Growing pains from moving into a saas platform
Pros
Our platform and what we can do for our customers is amazing, and I love that we benefit from it internally. The people here care - genuinely care - about the work and each other. We are constantly leveling up with new benefits, new programs and tools to make work easier, etc. It's an exciting time to be at Perceptyx.
Cons
We are busy ALL the time. We keep expecting a pause to catch a breath, and something else comes along we need to learn/do/change.
Pros
I've never worked with such amazing coworkers in my life – truly, the team here is exceptional. The sense of community is real, even with people I’ve never met in person, and collaboration feels seamless despite the remote-first setup. It’s clear that management genuinely prioritizes work-life balance, and with the workload we manage, it’s refreshing to see that commitment in action. My colleagues are consistently supportive, proactive, and always willing to teach and assist one another. Every manager I've had has been incredibly supportive, focusing on ensuring we take our flex time and removing any obstacles that might prevent us from doing our best work. There's a strong culture of trust here. While some managers may be a bit "hands-off" at times, it’s generally a positive reflection of the level of autonomy you’re given. The benefits are top-notch, with flexible time off and even pet coverage under the bereavement policy. It’s an environment that not only fosters professional growth but also offers a ton of experience to boost your resume. Perceptyx is an incredibly inclusive environment, especially for neurodivergent individuals, offering a supportive and understanding atmosphere for everyone to thrive. Being a remote-first company means there’s no pressure to return to the office, providing flexibility and enhancing work-life balance.
Cons
There is a significant workload, and the pace of change—whether in systems, products, or processes—can be overwhelming. If you're not particularly adaptable or comfortable with a constantly evolving environment, it could be a challenge. Career progression is more lateral than upward due to the flat hierarchy, which means the traditional upward mobility might be limited. While there are many opportunities to learn and grow, the lack of paid external training might limit development in key areas for some employees.
Pros
*The people I have the honor to work alongside are the best *We live our mission and vision daily *Speed of execution is accelerating and I love it *We are constantly evolving and transforming *We have the best benefits and programs for our people *Lots of new faces and energy joining the organization
Cons
*The speed of change is high and people who don't like continuous change will struggle here.
Pros
- The people in this organization are high-performers, smart, and generally pleasant to work with. - Variety in work and the day-to-day is never the same - Good benefits - Leadership that cares - Constantly innovating and pushing the market forward - Collaboration within teams is strong - Opportunities to be involved in research or internal projects of interest and that are strategically aligned with organizational goals - Support of development
Cons
- With a focus on innovation comes a lot of fast-paced change - Many high-level leadership changes over the past few years - Work-life balance can be challenging given the nature of the work
Pros
The people are second to none. All coworkers were intelligent and great to work with. They truly care about their clients, products, and peers. I believe Perceptyx is going to be successful. The CEO seems open and honest, and is very professional in all circumstances. I think they have a good business model and potential to be a profitable organization for some time.
Cons
Outside of the people, there's nothing unique or special about working for Perceptyx. Its not a bad place to work, and I wouldn't tell anyone to avoid applying, Perceptyx is just a standard mid sized company at this point. No surprise to anyone, as they've grown significantly over the past few years and its difficult to keep small company perks. Pay is average. Previously wasn't an issue as benefits/bonuses made up for it, but unfortunately that's no longer the case. Benefits are ok, but the cost has increased significantly. Not unique to this company, but still an added expense. 401K match hasn't gone up since it was decreased during Covid. The bonus program was eliminated for anyone below a certain org level. What's the incentive for ICs to put in extra time to achieve company goals? Even though things didn't work out for me personally, I felt like the company cares about it's people. Surely these were tough decisions made in the best interest of the organization, However, important information for future candidates who come here looking for honest reviews. My biggest concern was upper management. Some put in leadership positions who many don't believe are qualified to be leaders. They don't speak up, or have minimal experience in the field they are supposed to be leading. Often overlook the feedback of subject matter experts, and base decisions on article's they've read or the opinion of whoever they talked to last. I also don't believe they are being held accountable. The organization has disciplined ICs that followed a poor plan implemented by their leader, instead of the leader who created and forced the implementation of that failed plan.
Pros
Perceptyx is a growing company that offers great benefits.
Cons
The pay could be better and more competitive.
Pros
The people at Perceptyx are intelligent, genuinely nice, supportive and friendly. The remote work environment offers flexibility. The possibility to work independently. Benefits are good.
Cons
There's a significant lack of direction and clarity from management, making it challenging to understand and align with the company's goals. Top leadership is unskillful and seems to lack the necessary expertise to drive the company forward. Despite claiming to care for their employees, the actions of the management reflect a lack of genuine concern for the well-being and growth of the staff. The product is average at best and has become increasingly difficult to sell in a competitive market. The company has a troubling pattern of laying off employees and subsequently piling additional work on those who remain, often beyond their original job scope. There is no career progression for most people. They hire friends and family backdoor and promote them. This is probably the most openly dishonest and discriminatory practice I have seen at workplace. No DEIB policy or strategy in use/ just on paper/ lack of respect for other cultures and inclusivity. The work environment has become increasingly stressful due to these practices.
Pros
The people that make up the team are great (those who are still left that is)
Cons
Leadership has no plan and no vision. Layoffs are a tradition at this point, valuable team members are getting let go for arbitrary reasons. Benefits and pay keep getting worse. Workloads are unreasonable and you could essentially be on call 24/7 with no extra compensation.
