Cons
Some employees pretending be nice with politics alliances who sometimes don’t believe in your performance/skills.
Pros
An amazing group to work for. They value investment in growth of their people, excellent products and brand, good international exposure and collaborative culture.
Cons
Slower to market on some innovation with high levels of competition, but always prioritising efficacy and safety above all.
Pros
Nice view of the city
Cons
Worst company I ever worked for. Never experienced a culture so toxic in all my life. Not changed.
Pros
Excellent products that customers love. Brand is growing in the US and well-supported internationally.
Cons
Leadership changes have created a toxic, micromanaged environment. Morale is extremely low, most reps are unhappy, and many are actively seeking other opportunities. NSM behavior has fostered fear and low morale. High turnover and oversized territories make success difficult, and incentive compensation often depends on factors outside reps’ control. Q2 incentive compensation was withheld for a metric largely outside reps’ control, undermining trust and morale. Training sessions are repetitive and fail to address meaningful needs, seeming more like an attempt to justify certain roles than to support reps’ development. Culture has shifted from collaborative to punitive, with management frequently accusing and blaming reps. Previous reviews accurately highlighted these issues but have been removed. Some recent overly-positive reviews appear designed to obscure ongoing problems and create a misleading picture for prospective employees.

Pros
- Like every post has said ( sad that the February 5th post is no longer here- hats off to that person- immaculate writing) they do have decent benefits- IE: decent PTO, 401k contributions, discounts on cosmetic brands. I guess I can also say the people that I met here that were not grifters? Yeah that’s a pro too!
Cons
So since the “Lisa is smiling to your face while running the company to the ground” post is down- I just want to reiterate that point. THAT HOLDS TRUE. She is by far the most micromanaging CEO that I have ever seen in medical sales- that should’ve been a red flag, but we all just kept skipping along! The blatant disregard that they have for employees mental health is VERY clear- they have unrealistic call volumes with unrealistic territory sizes. BUT IF YOU HAVE TO GO OUT OF STATE- you better like driving because no staying in the hotel for you! They hoodwink people during interview processes and then act surprised when they complain or they don’t want the job. When people apply for the Chicago position- they shouldn't get it dropped in their lap that they have 3 other states all of a sudden. I don’t know but it’s funny to me that you have only TWO REPS for TEXAS- a MASSIVE state. At the end of the day- you don’t care about the quality of the call, all leadership cares about is how many samples we can drop at once. I do find it funny that continuously low performers were continually praised- one in the Midwest who was sitting at home lying about their performance- yet those who were actually out busting their butts got reamed out because we weren’t doing enough. How about if you want delivery drivers- PF just does what every other Derm company does and just ship samples to offices- because in a day that’s all we had time for. Not to mention that it seems like senior leadership has nothing better to do with their time than to read notes and accuse people of “making up calls”- how do you expect your reps to build sample carriers in the field, follow their routing, have meaningful conversations with offices, take notes and then do it all again for each account and then also make sure that they are taking comprehensive notes and submitting them right there and right then when you get that providers signature? They don’t pay enough here for that kind of stress. It is just skincare- calm down and like take a breath. Have more realistic expectations of a salesforce that just hit a year.. Pharma and Med device dont have these expectations with notes- it’s actually frowned upon!!! Your AWRs aren’t going to be hitting above 10% for offices even if every doctor put our products because if I was them, I WOULDNT FILL IT OUT EITHER! But that’s what a reps paycheck is tied to- and retail numbers.. Either way- if you can handle being miserable and being a glorified FEDEX driver- have fun! The beauty of the brand is being VASTLY overshadowed by the horrid morale in this company. I got more wrinkles from this job then I did from any other job. Everyone that knows what the company is doing has been smart and has hit the road- those who are left… they are hanging on by the shred of a C+ restore molecule. But I don’t know if there is enough Avène thermal spring water to restore this workforce’s ”natural hydration”without a major overhaul of leadership.

Pros
If you work in the cosmetic/ skincare side? Discounts. Avène is a great brand and well received.
Cons
The February 5th review here is 100% accurate — and unfortunately, since it was written, things have only deteriorated. Leadership changes have brought an aggressive, hyper-micromanagement style, nitpicking every minor detail instead of focusing on meaningful strategy. The work environment has become tense and unproductive as a result. For Q2, the company chose not to pay incentive compensation based on AWR or physician survey results — metrics that representatives have almost no influence over. This decision has severely damaged trust and morale, which was already quite low. Turnover is high, territories remain unrealistic in size, and management continues to place blame and pressure on sales representatives without keeping their promises. If you’re reading this while considering a position here, take the previous reviews seriously — and think twice before accepting an offer.
Pros
Amazing culture & environment Good benefits Hybrid model with gorgeous office Growing company Amazing work life balance
Cons
Some teams are difficult to work with
