Toxic Leadership, Zero Accountability — A Company on the Brink

      Anonymous employee
      Current employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

The company once had strong potential, driven by its people and customer base. The Data driven transformation is key subject ( this company should know how to be relevant ) Some legacy teams in BD, Customer Success still try to do the right thing despite chaos at the top.

      Cons

The company is in freefall — performance is declining, customers are walking away, and long-tenured employees are being forced out. Over the past year alone, the CPO, COO, CDIO and previous CRO have all exited or retired. . Leadership vacuum , imagine a company running without COO !! The newly installed CRO and his inner circle lack the experience and competence to run a sales organization. They operate from spreadsheets, with zero strategic depth or understanding of customers, markets, or people. Decisions are being made based on personal biases, favoritism, and vendettas. and constructive feedback is ignored. There is a growing culture of fear and insecurity, where layoffs and role changes are carried out without logic or transparency driven by egos, not performance. Employee morale is at an all-time low. Innovation is stifled. Talent is leaving in waves.

Tech stack lacking, C Level confused

      Senior account executive
      Former employee

      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Remote contracts, lots of benefits such as private health plus a health cash scheme for other parts such as eyecare, dental etc. Salary in line with the market for a Senior Account Exec but comp scheme weighted badly making it very hard to make money

      Cons

Tech stack is years behind the competition on the Engage side of the business, there's no real AI being used, all smoke and mirrors and customer base are legacy ones dating back 20+ years. Almost zero net new coming on board as most going to AI based competition. Whole company has laid off hundreds of people and many more have resigned, some real long term heavy hitters who can see the writing on the wall. Company ethos is to burn through Sales people hoping a different person can make up for the lack of technology and decent marketing. Also, the key C level people have gone, leaving behind people who are not skilled in the role or Sales., running Sales. Even the GVP Sales x 2 have left in the last 12 months. It's a mess and I wouldn't recommend joining.
