What is the hiring process like at Reckitt?

The entire recruitment process was very fast and smooth. Priya Wadhwa, the Talent Acquisition Advisor responsible for my recruitment, came across as very nice and professional during the initial HR assessment, provided me with clear information about next steps and expectations and answered any questions I had. Overall, it was a very positive experience and a big relief compared to appalling experiences I had with other organisations.

It's a great place to work at. People are friendly and helpful, bosses are always challenged to be better and people oriented, I work from home or at the office and no one minds if I leave 3 hours early or come in late as long as I don't miss any meetings or a deliverable.

You have to be on top of your growth path as no one will do it for you. Work hours can get high and hiring process take long.

Entrepreneurial spirit, good opportunities for business partnering and collaboration without stifling red tape. Great portfolio of internationally recognised brands. Some great and super smart people in the finance team. Nice team socials.

Unrealistic workloads, a lot of people suffering from burn out. Nepotism huge problem here. Often people are pushed up the ranks on the say so of line managers with no sense or regard for merit, but purely on favouritism. This usually occurs without any due process and solely on the word of managers who are all pals with each other. Nothing short of corruption in my opinion. Shocking that such practices are allowed at a time when transparency is meant to be the way. Very poor line management, I was once berated for logging off three minutes early, but when I came in early and stayed late for month end duties, it was never noticed. Yet others within the team are consistently late everyday and leave early.

It’s important for future hires to be evaluated not just on qualifications, but also on attitude, teamwork, and professionalism. A more thorough vetting process could help avoid these disruptions.
