What are perks and other benefits like at Renewal by Andersen?

I worked for Renewal By Andersen for the past six years and watched it grow in Cincinnati from nine Design Consultants all the way up to 40. The product I was selling could really sell itself. The training over the years was incredible. Support from the team and upper management created a great work environment. David Moore, who calls himself the Chief Appreciation Officer is one of the most generous people you’ll ever come across. Working for Renewal By Andersen was life-changing for me and my family. There is no cap on your commission and the income I was able to earn was far more than I ever could’ve imagined earning. The compensation plan as well as the 401(k) matching program, along with other benefits such as an exotic trip for top performers, shows the level of commitment the company has to its employees. Working for the company allowed me to achieve many lifelong dreams such as learning to fly and providing a lifestyle for my family that we would never have had. The only reason I left the company was because we had a desire to move to Florida. I end up taking the same exact job for Renewal By Andersen in Fort Myers Florida.

I’ve seen Design Consultants come and go throughout the years who could not handle the schedule or changes in the environment. You should be prepared to work 3 to 4 nights a week along with a commitment to work a number of Saturday and Sundays. I know that sounds tough but when you see the paycheck, it makes it a lot easier. With that being said this is a 100% commission job. You do get paid through training, after that, it’s all up to you. Feast or famine, nobody determines your worth except you. You may go a week without making a sale. This can be challenging for a Design Consultant who wonders when their next sales is going to be. As a design consult, you must be prepared for the highs and lows. This is a cyclical business. Sometimes there will be periods of sale after sale after sale and sometimes you may find yourself in a dry run. That’s OK. In the long run, you will make a ton of money if you follow the program and do what you’re supposed to do.

This is one of the best companies that I've ever worked for. The work environment is friendly and the leadership team takes the time to ensure we are setup for success. The bonus opportunities are great and I love that we get to share in the Company's success. The benefits are very generous and there are a lot of options to choose from.

I have only had a positive experience to date and enjoy working for the Company.

Great Pay, Control of your schedule, Good Benefits, and I Meet new people everyday, and really feel like a part of a team who supports and cheers each other on!

Be prepared to drive from 1-2 hours everyday. Not really a con, but a part of outside sales that should be expected.

Not for people who can't hustle.

People are AMAZING! This company takes a long-term view when making decisions - they're goal is that this company exists forever. They gave me freedom to move around and try new roles in different functions. I have been here for 21 years and it's the only place I have ever worked...I'll stay as long as they keep me! The pay is competitive, benefits are so good, they give back to the community in a BIG way. They are humble about their giving, but I can tell you it is unreal how much money and volunteer time this business gives back to the communities. Did I say the people are amazing! They truly care about each other and that makes it fun to go in every day!

honestly, can't think of any. There are definitely some tough days, but overall I am grateful for the opportunity to be here

Good petiole and benefits plus hourly pay if you don’t make commission

Essentially leave you to do your thing for 8hrs a day with little to no help if you failing, plus if this is your first time selling you most likely will not enjoy selling windows as they are a harder item to sell. Also one of the managers was not my favorite but everyone was kind. Also sometime you need to work weekend which wasn’t fun

You can tell that RBA Midwest is trying to show their employees that they appreciate them. Just in the last two years they have expanded their benefits package and added to the team some vital positions to best add to the company culture and atmosphere. They promote from within, Have great benefit options and additional programs to take advantage of, like student loan scholarship and repayment programs, The President and leadership really seem to care about each employee. They are also always giving out things to employees to show their appreciation. (event and experience ticket giveaways, little holiday care packages, raffles, catered lunches, game nights, etc.)

A lot of my coworkers complain about no flexibility in working remotely. But I would say it depends on the position and the department. Some departments are more flexible with remote work.

Benefits and pay is really good

Nothing negative to say about RBA. They are a family-owned business and care about their employees.

Everything. Work hard, play hard, help homeowners upgrade their homes by inviting them to schedule a consultation. It’s easy because you’re vetting the highest quality product in the nation and supported benefits-wise … great support to make as much uncapped $ as possible … world of a difference to pitch products that are beyond reputable for a company that treats its employees well.

I think a squirrely coworker stole my turkey pinwheels from Wawa at one point because he was using two of the wheels for eyes; thinking no one would notice … I noticed.
