Pros
- The company has a solid business model and is relatively stable for a startup.
- Interesting domain and challenging problems to solve, especially if you’re interested in finance.
- Modern tech stack with well-structured code and architecture.
- Possibility to work remotely (no mandatory office days) and limited time work from abroad
Cons
- Terrible work-life balance. Burnout is common, overtime is expected, and there is a strong peer pressure to put in extra hours. Being exploited is the norm.
- Toxic environment. No team work, but rather silos focused on how many tasks they will move to done
- Low compensation and no bonuses, because we are "still a startup" and "money shouldn’t be the main motivation for work"
- Management is there to maintain the status quo. Instead of addressing the issues, leadership enables and promotes the toxic work culture.
