What is the salary like at Softwire?

I can only sing praises for my time at Softwire. The intern salary is great, and the work-life balance is unmatched, with so many morale events funded by the company. I've done so many cool things here, like volleyball, climbing, and ceilidh dancing. It’s crazy to say, but it’s never felt like a chore or effort coming to the office. My team is fantastic, and the food is some of the best I've ever had. Each day has had new challenges, and I will never forget my time here.

You work with great people. The company has a great culture that really helps develop talent. You also get to work a multitude of different projects, which helps you develop a wide range of technical skills relatively quickly. You can very quickly become a confident developer here.

You receive support from colleagues. All employees are treated equally, regardless of their position in the company. The colleagues are very mature, and it’s pleasant to work with them; there are no communication issues, and everyone gives their best for the good of the team. Competitive salary.

The criteria for receiving an offer after the internship are quite subjective.

Really nothing that bothered me, all was good

Completely flexible and supportive in terms of mentoring, WFH, variety of opportunity. Atmosphere between colleagues is fantastic. Technical ability in the company is factastic and very widely and readily shared. Tremendous place to learn. Extremely generous morale and social budget and activities, phenomenal company culture.

Consultancy, so you can get bounced between projects a bit and some might not work for you. But different things work for everyone at different stages of career so it's hard to predict and there's always another project round the corner if you want to move. Pay is great as a junior but progression through mid and senior is slow.
