Some late nights/working weekends, but it comes with job

Loved building personal relationships with the athletes, staff , and coaches. Thoroughly enjoyed the experiences I’ve gained throughout my time there.

Extremely low pay, and no benefits. Hard to have a solid work/life balance.

Cool experiences for those just starting out in the industry.

Clueless and careless upper management. Basement low salaries. They will ask the world of you and give you nothing in return. Regularly favors outside hires over promoting from within. Little room for growth. Workplace politics rule everything in this office. If you aren’t one of their selected favorites, you won’t be taken seriously and your concerns will fall on deaf ears. They are not concerned with employee retention, call you a “family” but replace you in a heartbeat. They are removing employee benefits and perks regularly without increasing compensation.

The staff attitude is very positive and the organization is very supportive of us when it comes to benefits outside of work. Amazing healthcare and we get the week of July 4th off, fully paid, every year. When a hurricane came through Tampa in 2024, all staff were offered to have our families (including pets) stay at a nice resort in Orlando or Tampa, free of charge, until the storm until it was safe to go back home and our homes had power. Pay is competitive for the sports business industry

Compared to other teams, they are much slower to promote employees.

Great benefits in the organization.

I never really was a big sports fan, Never cared for them at all, And the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was the only one that offered me a fulltime job after graduating. Great! I'll do it. But I was their first motion designer, and the job description wasn't defined. I was way over qualified for the job, I was a 3D designer who can do motion graphics. And I had a lot of down time, because there wasn't a lot of work for a motion designer at the Bucs. They hired studios for the motion graphics billboards during the games, And I was doing just social graphics for them. If you are a talented motion designer with a lot of potential , I advise you to look somewhere else to grow. But if you like sports and easy pay, do it. But everyone around you work 50 hours weeks because their job was define for decades.
