Overall great company. The benefits were great and they allowed you to grow but promotions are always based on timing and availability.

The job is a daily grind and very repetitive.

- If you are an expat in Hong Kong, I’ll highly encourage you to join the company to start your career. - They have a competitive package for you even you have zero related work experience or just graduated from school. -They paid you at least 8K HKD as allowance to start with. I know it is around 40K later on when you are in manager grade. With the package you can be earning at least 50% more than your Hong Kong peer, which will be easier for you to ask for a higher salary or better package later on when you switch job. -I think this is a really good starting point if you do not care about the industry or do not know what you want to do yet. It is also very rare for a company to provide such benefits to an entry level employee so seize the opportunity if you get the offer. - They also treat you equally so do not worry about getting additional workload because you get paid better than the locals.

I know the policy is a bit unfair to some of the locals, but I guess this is how the society works.

Started this gig fresh out of college. Out the gate, it’s overwhelming. I was a person who knew nothing about the power tool industry. Luckily, TTI has fantastic training and resources available to you day one. You must stick it out & see it through… it gets better! There are loads of networking opportunities & tremendous growth opportunities within the company. You have an opportunity to shine at this company so long as you show up, be ready to learn & ultimately deliver results. Couldn’t recommend a better company for someone out of college or looking for a change in careers. You also get good pay, great benefits & and the chance to grow vertically within your role.

I left a while ago due to change in environment. There was a change in management, the new manager did not know his job, even 7 months down the line, upper management was oblivious to this. Moral dropped, work environment became toxic and many people left due to the impact on the health(myself included) It used to be an amazing place to work, not anymore.

Strong benefits, a fair amount of autonomy in day-to-day work, and valuable experience building vendor and retailer relationships. The in-person training in Milwaukee was exceptionally well done — very hands-on and easily one of the best corporate training experiences I’ve attended.

The role involves a significant amount of physical labor moving inventory and merchandising product. At times, reps can feel undervalued when customers treat them more like a retail store employee than a field representative. Upward mobility can also be limited unless you are willing to relocate or happen to work in a particularly high-performing territory. The promotion process can feel inconsistent — at times resembling a mélange of timing, connections, and circumstance more than pure work ethic or sales performance. There are many people competing at the bottom of the pyramid, but comparatively few opportunities at the top.
