Pros
Pay is consistent at $19/hr.
Cons
Unbearable working conditions: The warehouse is often unventilated, and temperatures can reach up to 105°F. On top of that, employees are exposed to propane exhaust all day, which is a serious health concern.
Management issues: Frequent management changes for the worse, with a lot of ego-driven decisions. They tend to choose not to hire experienced personnel, which affects team efficiency.
Lack of breaks: You will frequently be expected to work through your lunch breaks, and taking breaks is often criticized.
Toxic work environment: Management (particularly Nick) encourages colleagues to “fight it out” when issues arise between employees, creating a hostile atmosphere.
High turnover and burnout: Due to poor working conditions and a lack of support from leadership, burnout is high, and responsibilities constantly change without notice. If management decides to let you go, they'll assign you trash duty as a way of phasing you out.
Unsanitary conditions: The warehouse smells awful, especially during summer. The stench comes from urine accumulated in returned appliances, as some drivers relieve themselves in them, and it spills over when moved.
Low pay for high expectations: $19/hr is far too low considering the number of duties required, and there’s a lack of recognition for the hard work employees put in.
Problematic coworkers: A significant portion of the drivers have criminal backgrounds and anger issues, which can create tension and lead to further hostility in the workplace.
