What are perks and other benefits like at The Y (YMCA)?

Families are great, staff is supportive, flexible scheduling and lots off different opportunities, free membership and other great benefits for employees,

The pay for most roles is minimum wage, but like I said you can work your way up if you desire more.

They have good benefits such as retirement, life insurance, and free membership. They are flexible and you can work from home.

Low pay for the amount of work you do, no advancement, and very little trainning provided.

Very enjoyable working role itself helping the youth.

The benefits of the role were heavily outweighed by the ineffective system and culture. Some of managers were not nice, horrible, to be honest. Passive aggressive at times. I even had the credit stolen for work I contributed to on a project. The building was cold and not heated well.
