      Pros

The company offers unlimited opportunities for growth and a system that promotes from within based upon performance and not seniority. The upper management all started at the bottom and had to earn the top positions which allows them to re relatable and stay humble. They have also created and implemented a program that focuses on giving back in our local communities and making the philanthropy a foundation of the business. Last, but not least, we are an ESOP and that allows each of us to become employee owners. The retirement benefits are out of this world.

      Cons

If you are not hard working and or self driven, then this is not the place for you.

      Pros

Pros for working here are the endless opportunities you are given to grow within the company. Whether it’s becoming an assistant to having your own store! This is by far THE BEST company I have worked for since I started working at 18. With this job I have been able to not only afford my personal life, but I get the opportunity to meet new people and build relationships with customers. I have been treated with the upmost respect here. My boss is absolutely amazing and so is our regional! They always make sure we have what we need and give us the tools we need to be more knowledgeable & succeed here. I can’t wait to keep growing with this company! Excited for more opportunities.

      Cons

I have no complaints about this company!

      Cons

I truly don’t have any cons. This company has been very good to me and my family. You’ll have to work your butt of but that comes with any career!

      Business Outlook

      Pros

You get to make your own schedule, the opportunity to move up in the company is great! What you put in is what you get out of it. Home office staff is great! Been in business for over 100 years. The direction Tradehome is going for the future is arguably unbeatable. If money drives your ambitions, Tradehome has an ESOP, profit sharing, and bonus account which makes our turn over low. Very inspirational people and can make you a better person, inside and outside of the work place.

      Cons

You do have to be able to work weekends and holidays. You can go negative in your bonus account from your payroll due to over staffing or lack of traffic.

      Pros

Community focused, growth oriented, multiple opportunities for connection amongst peers

      Cons

Shoe ordering from other stores can be a bit difficult since it’s all person-to-person based. Most store cultures depend on management, so you can cultivate whatever culture you like!

      Pros

Tradehome is passionate about giving back to the community and growing authentic relationships with customers. We have endless opportunities to give back to the community. My favorite example is getting to donate socks and shoes to children, families, and various organizations. We are also lucky that we get to visit college campuses and help students get set up with jobs or Internships to help further their career. It is a privilege to provide a full service when guests visit our stores, ensuring that that they are satisfied, comfortable and confident. If you’re looking for a fulfilling career that’s makes you feel accomplished at the end of the day, then it would be a great fit!

      Cons

I would love to see more women in higher positions.
