      Pros

Pay its not bad and they allow you to buy extra vacation

      Cons

The benefits are bad compared to other banks most things are up to your manager if you get a bad or a regular manager forget about having a work life balance the work environment its very toxic at times / I had a family member pass away and not get even 24h because it was up to my manager. Pros

Good benefits, you can buy time off, flexible schedule for the most part

      Cons

Poor management, company expects too much of employees without compensating , nothing ever works the way it’s supposed to, constant technology issues, a lot of suspicious fraud & company cares more about making money than they do about their employees

      Worked with some great people

      Pros

Excellent benefits including a pension plan.

      Cons

I worked with some very unethical people. Bold faced lying is commonplace—about important things. They claim they’ve taken corrective action for MRIA but have not, the create fake documents to give to regulators. Hope they get caught! Also too many MAGA people.

      Terrible

      Relationship banker
      Current employee
      Fairfax, VA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

      None. None. None. None. None

      Cons

Low pay, terrible management at all levels, consistently under staffed, eliminated tellers so now bankers have to cover as teller support at other branches all over the local area and no mileage reimbursement. No growth or mentorship/development. Toxic culture that weaponizes “care”. Outsourcing key departments like fraud and identity management to call centers in India and the Philippines. CEO gets millions in pay increases every year but branch employees get 1%, changed working hours and benefits with no input from employees.

      Pros

No stress for the kind of work.

      Cons

The company's lack of commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) poses a significant concern. Without a robust focus on fostering diversity and creating an inclusive environment, the company may miss out on the myriad benefits that come with a diverse workforce. A strong commitment to DEI is crucial for promoting innovation, attracting top talent, and ensuring a workplace where every employee feels valued and included. Addressing this deficiency in the company's approach to DEI is essential for its long-term success and sustainability in a diverse and evolving business landscape.

      Good benefits with some downside

      Wealth solutions associate
      Current employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Benefits such as pension and vacation are great

      Cons

Technology seems to be a bit behind compared to other banks. Leadership can be an issue in terms of being on the same page with procedure and holding people accountable
