Great entry level position, and great benefits if you are full time

Surrounded by inexperienced or unmotivated people. Advancement is limited to time there, or training video completion, and does not take into account experience, certifications, schooling, or performance. Bonus system is rigged to not pay you any way possible.

No experience needed, benefits and pay are good for what the job is, training process is straightforward, great place to get automotive experience, can move up quickly if you work hard. Coworkers are typically 'car guys' if that's your thing, work hours are good

very taxing and dirty work especially if you do any under the car work. job becomes less about cars and revolves around sales if you want to move up. Small team so manager and coworkers will make or break your experience. great for entry level experience but if you want more advanced work (diagnostics, repair, electrical) other than changing lightbulbs and fluid flushes, look elsewhere. job is entry level blue collar and so you see mostly men, either teens or early 20s, and the workplace culture that comes with working in an autoshop

For blue collar manual work, this is as good as it gets. Good pay, benefits, and lots of room to grow.

Managers will offer one salary then pay less. When you complain, they say there's nothing they can do.

Plenty of hours, friendly and professional coworkers, great benefits packages, the ability to be promoted is there and available if you work for it.

Training can be hit or miss, some management can be inconsistent, scheduling is also inconsistent.

Great benefits, relatively flexible scheduling and good pay

You get far too much time in the pit, especially during the summer. People went home sick at least once every other week because of getting overheated

High turnover, pressure sales, you transfer around if you're halfway decent at training
