C-Suite embraces a culture of layoffs. Less than 8 weeks after layoffs, a C-suite exec posted pictures on LinkedIn of an off-site trip for which he flew in his whole department and paid food and lodging for multiple days (could not taking this costly trip saved at least one job?). Curious, I looked at the CEOs LinkedIn profile where I saw a banner stating he's hiring (less than 8 weeks after a large layoff).
In my opinion, the C-Suite lacks accountability, lays off without a thought, makes poor decisions, and lacks a cogent strategy for success.
