Pros
There is job security because of the demand in the market for Vertiv's products. Middle management is very common-sense, reasonable. "Unlimited" paid time off isn't really unlimited of course because it has to be approved by your manager, BUT it often is approved, which is great. Lots of opportunity to interview up or lateral.
Cons
Big global public company treats you like line-item expense. They give the usual annual "raise" that keeps up with inflation, but they simultaneously slash benefits worth about as much as the raise so unless you interview up you're going backward. It's a frustrating working environment because there doesn't seem to be a standard for producing tech documentation so you're constantly working with draft-quality documents.
