      Pros

VideoAmp had a competitive salary and great benefits.

      Cons

Over the course of a year, there were changes to the original benefits, however, they still maintained competitive with the industry.

Typical adtech company, not a unicorn.

      Accountant
      Former employee
      Boulder, CO

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Many employees believe VideoAmp is a special unicorn, doing groundbreaking work. This can be infectious and energizing.

Chill place to work, but unorganized internal systems

      Senior account executive
      Current employee
      New York, NY
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Office was spacious, clean, and had lots of snacks, it was also the entire floor so there were lots of open spaces to work. Benefits were ample and very flexible.

      Cons

Spent weeks feeling like I had no idea what my role was. It seemed like no one had time to train myself or the new hires and 5 months later we were let go due to internal company changes. They seem to go through transitions quite often and need to figure out how to make changes that will stick.

Whoever you are, you will be laid off.

      Anonymous employee
      Former employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Coworkers were always chill and everyone liked to drink and party. Didn't have drama or anything between anyone. I had some amazing work-life balance here.

      Cons

Layoffs are inevitable. No real benefits outside of healthcare. management doesn't know what they're doing; if management doesn't understand why a job position is important, chances are that position will be terminated. Management control teams through favoritism and who can suck up more. Management also moves around frequently, which brings in new personalities from different careers or divisions, which results in said management to shift gears and team members into a structure where they are familiar with. With that being said, this causes a lot of clashing personalities and team members who are never on the same page.

      Avoid If Possible

      Anonymous employee
      Former employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Depending on the area of the country you are in, the pay could be a little competitive. Healthcare was good.

      Cons

No benefits other than healthcare - no 401k matching. Barebones and unconvincing to say the least. Management is largely heartless and uncaring. After about 8 reorgs and full team layoffs, they have no sympathy for hearing about struggles within your role. Just complete everything that they sign you up for and get it done ASAP, with no funding, no chances for promotion or advancement, etc.

      1
