Pros
Recruitment is shocking, disconnect between recruitment and management doing the interviews.
Cons
None at all, the disparity was shocking
Pros
Absolutely none, stay far away
Cons
-Office Culture: Want to work in a place where every square inch is bugged? Want to feel like they are watching your every move even when you go to the bathroom? Want to feel belittled during every meeting? If you crave micromanagement, Bet365 is the place for you! -Despicable Scheduling: Do you like working (every week) until 10pm one day and 9am the next day? How about not getting your schedule until a couple days before the next week starts? This company would be for you! The amount of times I had to cancel medical appointment due to scheduling conflicts would make my doctor think i'm cheating on him. I'm not kidding when I say they truly don't care about you or your life outside. During the interview process, they asked numerous times if I had anything going on in the next 10 weeks. I responded in every interview that all I had was one doctors appointment 3 weeks into the job, to which I had to remind them about it once I got my schedule for that week (Guess what? I was scheduled during it!) They made me take a whole day of PTO just to attend a 20-minute appointment at 9am. -Worst upper-management I've ever encountered. They love to play favorites and give special treatment to certain employees. I've seen several employees call in sick/absent for 10+ days during training and get a slap on the wrist. I was 30 seconds late from using the bathroom during a 10-minute break and was ridiculed. Do you want to work for a company where you never know where you stand? Have fun! -Horrible training that does not help with the actual job. I can't begin to tell you the amount of times that I was told conflicting instructions on processes I was previously taught. The best part is, when upper-management comes down on you for following those "wrong" processes you were previously taught, you get all the blame! -Love to pay for parking every day? You'll fit right in!
Pros
- Great salary above whatever you could find on your actual field - A ton of vacation days
Cons
- Salary is basically what keeps you hooked in the company even though your anxiety and mental health will be lower than ever. - People are unnecessarily strict, you can't talk or laugh with your coworkers when you're in the office and you can't even pee without asking for permission. - Basically that's all you're gonna have: coworkers. Forget about making friends in an environment like that one. Within over 2 years in the company the environment was so bad I made 2 friends and deleted everyone else. - The vacation days are the only thing that's helping everyone maintain their sanity which is something that both advisors and upper management admits in doing in order to cope with the conditions. - For Christmas we got cards that instead of wishing something for us and our families they had charts with how much more money the company made in the last quarter - Moving shifts make it impossible to have a proper adult life and nightshifts turn people into zombies. Basically you meet up with whoever is available on random days and have barely anything to talk about because you're overworked and overstressed - Everyone sells you this delusion that after leaving the company you can work wherever you want (typical example in fraud in banks) but after many years of knowing people from this industry I see that all of them just end up shifting between the different iGaming companies in Malta and in the rest of Europe. - The promotions are one of the main reasons people immediately lose respect for the company. Random people straight out of training who make a ton of mistakes become team leaders because they said the right answers in the interview from answers that they found on internet. The same happens for team leaders and supervisors trying to get promoted even after more than 5 years of being in the same position. The team leaders supervising the advisors, the supervisors overviewing the team leaders and the managers reviewing the whole departments have NO say in the interview process and they are there just to collect points for the interview. Then the points get counted in UK and the decision for a simple promotion in the department in Malta is being made in UK. This means that even if someone is years in the company and well respected they can lose their promotion because some faceless nameless person in UK decided that some random person who just joined got more points than someone who was loyal to the company for years.
Pros
New office, good amenities for commuters like a bike room and gym access, monthly engagement events, no premiums for health insurance unless you add someone else to your plan and they use Aetna which is one of the better providers for Denver, good atmosphere,
Cons
not any cons for me, the hiring team is upfront about what to expect for the role and I am happy here!
Pros
-Good salary -High quality of work environment -Some strict rules but in a good way and working -New canteen in Malta is the best among all companies in the island -Amazing holiday allowance -Events and more
Cons
-Can't check the shifts outside
Pros
People are experienced and know the pressures that you may be in when undertaking important work and are very considerate. Day to day it is a very polite and nice place.
Cons
Process is something we contribute to and it is a a double edge sword and can take time to evolve. It happens in all organisations.
Pros
Job Advancement but not without playing favorites or flirting with potential hirees
Cons
Scheduling is horrendous Inexperienced HR that was 0 help during onboarding Makes new hires work on cases for countries they don't support Surveillance in every inch of the facility Not paid enough to endure verbal abuse from customers Will promote talentless people over established talent Constantly shifting job responsibilities Unable to possess/use phone anywhere in office even when you're having an emergency 10 minute breaks A 30 minute lunch that's more like 25 Unable to do anything without authorization (but you'll usually get ignored or forgotten before it happens) Office Politics/Cliquey Management with a Huge drinking culture (if you're not a drinker kiss your promotion goodbye) Supervisors with a God complex Homogeneous and noninclusive workplace environment
