      Assistant Marketing Manager Interview

      Apr 1, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Raleigh, NC
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at 10acity (Raleigh, NC)

      Interview

I went in to the office and waited for over two hours past my scheduled interview time because the manager was having personal conversations on their cell phone and with all other interviewees. When I was finally interviewed, the manager disclosed to me that the job position that was open was that of a door-to-door salesperson who would be driving all around the state. The pay that was shown on the website where I applied was significantly higher than the pay that I was offered and I was told that I would have to "work your (my) way up for one year" even though I had spoken to the manager over the phone about having the job that I applied for. I just found them to be sketchy and very unprofessional.
