      Mechanical Design Engineer Interview

      Aug 25, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Salmon Arm, BC
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at 4AG Robotics (Salmon Arm, BC) in Jul 2025

      Interview

Range and interviews from group settings to one-on-one. Some were what I would expect, others were more technical than I would expect. I do not feel you should ask questions that could be answered with a Google search. Some questions had preconceived answers for their environment, but are not necessarily true for the entire field.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Specific material or component questions applicable to their product. These are good examples of questions that could be answered with Google, as indicated above. If you have spent your career in a specific field with different requirements and materials, you may not provide the answers they seek, but this does not mean you cannot demonstrate the value you could deliver.
