I interviewed at 7 Mile Advisors
Interview
Process took three months. Two case study / skills tests, several presentations to management panels, "speed dating" interviews, and the final round was in a group setting. Overall they demand an unusually high amount of time, even for the industry (I'd estimate six hours worth of interviews and close to 80 hours worth of case work).

Hobbies, Sources of data used in the presentations, fairly normal stuff
Before any interview, they sent a case study where you are required to build a 3 statement model and a brief teaser presentation. After this, you had to speak with the partner who seemed very rushed and just told me the next steps and hung up after 3 minutes.
The next step was to present a 2-4 slide presentation on 2 IT service companies to senior management. I expected that 4 VPs and Partners would show up but only one did show up and seemed very uninterested in interviewing at all.
After 3 days, I received the rejection email. Much more work than I have ever done on an interview and they barely talked to you at all. It was all just case studies on your own and zero "fit" questions. Strange process for sure.

Question 1
What do you know about the firm? Past jobs? Not much beyond that. Nothing behavioral or technical.
