I applied online. I interviewed at 9fin (London, England)
Interview
Very well-structured process. HR was very professional and communicative, and interviewers very friendly and accommodative throughout the whole process. Case-study was very interesting to do, and they are interested in getting to know your throught-process. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at 9fin (New York, NY) in Jan 2023
Interview
Applied online and wrote 2 250+ word prompt responses that took about 30 min to complete (can be quickened with chatgpt and pre written responses from other job apps) Then I had a 20 min zoom interview with a very empathetic and friendly recruiter who made me feel very comfortable. I have experience at a municipal bond insurance internship which he liked. He wrote back in an email with great feedback and suggested I apply again in the fall since with more experience I could be a better fit. Essentially Bloomberg for the bond market, am heavily considering reapplying for the $77k/yr + stock options credit analyst position

Question 1
Then Kugan asked me 2 technical questions (which tbh I wasn't prepared for). I quickly googled and nervously responded with answers that were in the back of my mind about info I learned from college classes (3 parts of a cash flow statement, break down a balance sheet) and my lack of confidence in this part seemed to be the factor that prevented a follow up interview.
