I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at ABC Fitness (Sherwood, AR) in Apr 2015
Interview
After "tell us about yourself" it was a pretty tough grilling. They seemed to be extremely dissatisfied with my qualifications, especially my lack of a PMP certification. I had to explain to the main interviewer that you have to have to have a certain number of contact hours signed off before you can even apply for that certification, so there's no way I can get that without having prior project manager experience. The interviewer seems to have never seen a functional work history and told me if I can't even get my resume in chronological order, I can't be trusted to run a project. At the end of the interview I didn't know if I was getting tested to see how I handle pressure or if they were just taking frustration out on me.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ABC Fitness (Vancouver, BC) in Dec 2023
Interview
The interview process was very straight forward. An interview with the recruiter, then a follow up call with the hiring manager, another interview with the team and finally a call with the hiring manager and an senior engineering leader
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly behavior and situation based questions.
1. What's your approach toward go-to-market strategy?
2. Have you worked with off-shores teams before?
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ABC Fitness in Sep 2017
Interview
I had an initial phone screening with HR, then a phone interview with the hiring manager. I was then asked to come for an in-person group interview, which was extensive, and included lunch. It gave me a chance to speak with everyone on my team. I even had a follow-up phone call with an additional team member who could not make my onsite interview. All in all, I spent 5-6 hours in interviews.
