      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at ACI Learning

      Interview

1st round: Interview with a recruiter. The person I spoke with was lovely, and it was a really positive conversation. I was adequately able to explain my interest in the position and communicate how my experience made me a fit for the role. I had a few questions that the recruiter couldn't answer, and she actually followed up with me by email with the answers (so rare is in today's job market!). I left with a good impression of the company. 2nd round: Interview with direct manager. This interviewer was distracted-there were constant audible notifications throughout the interview. The interviewer did not seem interested in me at all. It almost felt as though they already had someone else in mind, and the conversation with me just a formality. We got to the "do you have any questions for me" pretty early, and it almost felt like I asked more questions than the interviewer. From the questions that I asked, it seemed like this person had a lot on their plate and while I empathize with that, I wish the second interview had gone like the first. The day after my second interview, I received a request for feedback about the interview process. I received a rejection email the day after that.
