I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AJ Tutoring (Palo Alto, CA) in Jan 2014
Interview
Met with one of the co-founders for a one-on-one interview. Great interview! Got a feel for the company, and how they value their students and tutors. Since I applied to be an AP exam tutor I was asked to take the AP tests for the subjects I'd be tutoring. Test taking happened at a later date.

Question 1
They asked me to describe how I would work with an uncooperative student.
Phone interview followed by in person interview. If you pass those, you are then asked to come in and take an examination in all subjects of interest. The process was seamless and everyone I spoke to was very genuine.
A brief phone screening, zoom interview, and an academic assessment to gauge your abilities to tutor your desired subject (don't worry, you don't have to know everything at all! AJ Tutoring pairs you with a current Tutor to help fill any knowledge gaps you have).
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AJ Tutoring (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2022
Interview
First there was 1 impromptu phone interview that included general screening questions. Then there was one more comprehensive video interview where I met with the CEO and they asked more pertinent questions for the job.
