APA Agency interview questions

I applied via email and received a response within 8 minutes. I had a phone interview with the ops manager a couple days later which to touch base about the role. I then was interviewed in-person by the ops manager who went over typical interview questions with myself. I then sat down with the agent who completely contrasted the job description and was not prepared to talk with me…I then played email tag for 3 weeks before being told they hired someone else. I was coming into this interview over qualified for the position, with recommendations. Then to be told I had to accept minimum wage as salary, and any additional work was a “conflict of interest”. Not to mention that they wanted a “diversity hire” and essentially someone to teach them social media… Nobody can survive on minimum wage alone and for the ask of the job description compared to the componsation is quite ridiculous. Waste of time.

A phone interview followed by an in person. Told me they'd follow up after initial call to schedule in person. Never did. Had to call multiple times. Each time the same response. WEEKS later finally get Interview. Told that a third, panel style interview is coming up and that HR will let me know if I will be going. I don't hear from them that week. Not even the day before. I hear back the day - of with a form email that I they are going with someone else. How am I supposed to prep on that schedule? Get dry cleaning done or save that money? Schedule work? What about standing offers and other interviews? A company that does not treat applicants with the basic respect that we show them.
