I went through two rounds: first call with recruiter about the company and role, second call with the hiring manager. The call with the recruiter was great, they asked about my background and general questions to see if I had researched the company. Immediately after the call they scheduled my follow up with the hiring manager and sent me a quick heads up on what to expect, which I appreciated. The call with the hiring manager however was a total disappointment, to the extent that I would not consider working at Acast. After asking me to quickly walk them through my resume, they did not ask a single question to deep dive in my experience but instead started firing questions very specific to the company that only someone with direct knowledge of the product would know how to answer precisely (see interview questions below). I didn't get the impression that they are looking for smart, capable, or accomplished people, the hiring manager follows a close-minded approach to hiring probably as a result of their own narrow overall experience.
